Cynthia and Donald - full-time gem and mineral collectors and jewelry designers, sales for Cynthia’s business.  Melanie has PhD in Geology (in Vancouver).  Carl is Geotechnical Engineer in Vancouver; Leslie is artist teaching in Minneapolis School of Art & Design.  Brian is Aerospace Engineering Grad & EMT in Tucson Arizona.  One granddaughter Samantha in Vancouver.

David Dexter
Retired Associate Professor, Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine, Queen’s University, Kingston Ontario.  Director of Forensic Unit at Kingston (retired).  Retired after 30 plus years at Kingston General Hospital with expertise in Breast, GI bone and soft tissue pathology as well as Forensic Pathology – most recently giving evidence to the Goudge Commission.  A recent foray into a “cold case” file by Sir Isaac Brook’s death was shown on the History Channel: Bloodline Series.  Retired to Oak Bay with Fran.  Two daughters, one mechanical engineer, one environmental scientist, one grandson, Blake.

I wouldn’t recommend it but I am retired with a distinctive Scottish flare around here, with Dawn raising and showing Cairn Terriers and now Hielan Coos.  The ponies seem anxious to move out, so we’ll have to see what the Back Country Horseman have planned and Ryan wants to fish the South Fork of the Flathead deep in the “Bob again”!  A prominent horse lady has bought my whole damn hay crop – got to get “farming”!

Retired from Canadian Forces Oct. 2009 after 34 years of service, 8 as a reservist while conducting family practice in Victoria. First female qualified combat driver, to command an army force unit, military attaché (Washington), force medical officer for a UN peacekeeping mission (Rwanda) and first female to command in a forward battle area (Gulf War I). Honorary member for Canadian Federation of Medical Women for 2009.

Terry and I are greatly anticipating our first grandchild in October 2008.  I continue to split my medical practice between Alabama and Togs West Africa with occasional getaways to our beach house on the Gulf of Mexico (it is still standing in spite of occasional hurricanes).  I continue to enjoy our church ministry with recovering addicts.

Spent a year as acting head of Medical Imaging for SRHA and College of Medicine 2009-2010. Still a general radiologist after 26 years, but am doing more work in breast imaging and intervention.

Lal and co-inventor Ajay Mahajan took first place in the Medical Division of the 2008 NASA's Create the Future Design Contest. Their invention would improve a surgeon's accuracy in the operating room by mapping the brain or spine using ultrasonic waves.
