Global Health Programs
The College of Medicine's Global Health Committee oversees the College's internationalization initiatives and travel bursaries. Faculty and students are engaged in many health initiatives around the globe that support social accountability. These initiatives are guided by the social transformation model, wherein internationalization serves to address inequities within and between countries through a reciprocal process, and where communities and institutions locally and internationally seek to share insights and knowledge and to learn from the experience, cultures and research of each other.

Unfortunately, women in this community are not coming to stay at the Casa de Espera, because the building is no longer an appropriate place for anyone to live. The goal of the Casa de Espera Project is to raise enough funds to build a new building that will comfortable, safe and welcoming. Read more....
