BIOL 120.3 Note: Students with credit for BIOL 203 or BIOL 217 or BIOL 224 or HSC 208 will not receive credit for BMSC 224. |

| Course Description | Studies the problems all animals have to overcome in order to survive and reproduce, and the different body systems that must deal with both unique and common environmental challenges. |
| Evaluation |
Mid-Term - 20%; Laboratory - 35%; Final Lecture Exam - 45% Completion of the final lecture exam is required in order to pass this course. Students who miss the midterm exam due to illness or extenuating personal circumstances must contact the course coordinator within two days of the exam and provide documentation to support their absence from the exam. Students who miss the final lecture exam must contact the College and apply for a deferred exam; documentaiton supporting the absence from the exam will also be required. The laboratory grade will be based on weekly lab assighnmnets and a final lab exam. Complete details on the lab assignments and lab mark distribution will be provided in the first lab period. |
