The CARE model ---Clinical Activity, Advocacy, Research, Education and Training---is used as a guide to assess Committee work in addressing each of the four categories of activity.

Indigenous HealthThe College of Medicine is a leader in Aboriginal health programs, education, and services. We have a multitude of opportunities for Aboriginal and non-aboriginal students to learn about Aboriginal health, culture, and community. Ten percent of first year spaces are reserved for Aboriginal students. Awards for Aboriginal students are available, along with mentorship from pre-med right through residency. |

Making the Links - A Certificate in Global HealthMaking the Links is a unique certificate program for undergraduate medical students that combines academic courses with service learning experiences in the context of an urban underserved community at SWITCH (the Student Wellness Initiative Towards Community Health) in Saskatoon, remote communities in northern Saskatchewan, and the Global South in Mozambique. |
