The Department of Pediatrics is dedicated to providing exemplary health care for children, ensuring excellence in training of future pediatrics health care providers, undertaking meritorious research and advocating for the health and well-being of children and youth.

Department Profile

The Department of Pediatrics is affiliated with The University of Saskatchewan and The Saskatoon Health Region. It is the predominant Pediatric center in Saskatchewan offering a comprehensive array of health care services for children and youth.

The Department of Pediatrics comprises more than 40 full-time and part-time physician faculty members in addition to post-graduate trainees and allied health professionals. Although most members of the Department reside in Saskatoon they do provide service to children and families throughout the province of Saskatchewan. In addition, part-time members of the faculty who are located in Regina and Prince Albert contribute to the Department's clinical care and teaching programs.
