A significant part of the mandate of the Department of Psychiatry is the training of the next generation of scientists and clinicians - that is the training of residents, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and undergraduate medical students.

Residency Training

The Department of Psychiatry has a 5 year psychiatry residency training program, fully accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. There are 3 positions available yearly which are filled through the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS).
