To be a source of biostatistical and epidemiological science to faculty, staff and students in biomedical and clinical sciences. The CRSU will provide the highest quality of services and will promote the highest standards in research and education.
Our mission is to conduct high quality innovative research, to provide research services and stimulate collaboration amongst investigators from all departments. We will provide methodological support to clinical and biomedical researchers in a collaborative manner to assist researchers in making the best use of their resources in all phases of basic science, clinical and epidemiological research. Interdisciplinary and collaborative research contributed by the unit will produce quality research publications, and directly and indirectly help raise significant amount of outside research funding for the College of Medicine.
The Clinical Research Support Unit (CRSU) is a new Biostatistics resource to clinical researchers at the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. It is the result of a new initiative by the College Dean's Office and the Department of Communiti Health & Epidemiology. The creation of Biostatistical resource raised the college to a new level effectiveness and relevance in health research and teaching. The unit serving an important role in initiating interdisciplinary, collaborative research among departments in the College of Medicine.
