Dr. Daryl Fourney, MD, FRCSC, FACS

Dr. Fourney completed his medical school and residency training in Neurosurgery at the University of Saskatchewan. He later did a fellowship in neurosurgical oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He has a special interest in brain tumors as well as complex spinal disorders including tumors of the spine. He has authored more than 60 published peer-reviewed articles and 10 book chapters. He was President of the Canadian Spine Society from 2007 to 2009. He is Annual Meeting Chair for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves for 2012. He is on the editorial board of two journals. He has been the Director of the Neurosurgery residency training program at the University of Saskatchewan since 2003.

Dr. Kotoo Meguro, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Meguro completed his residency training in Neurosurgery in Toronto. He obtained fellowship expertise in neurovascular surgery under Dr. Charles Drake in London, Ontario. He worked for many years in Japan, and has recently moved back to Canada. He has a special interest in surgery for cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and carotid artery stenosis.

Dr. Aleksander M. Vitali, MD, FCS(SA) Neurosurgery

Dr. Vitali joined the Division of Neurosurgery at the University of Saskatchewan after completing Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship at British Columbia's Children's Hospital in Vancouver under the direction of Dr. Paul Steinbok and Functional Neurosurgery Fellowship at Surgical Centre for Movement Disorders at the University of British Columbia under the direction of Dr. Christopher Honey. He has a special interest in pediatric and functional surgery including deep brain and spinal cord stimulation.

Dr. Adam S. Wu, MD, MSc, FRCSC

Dr. Wu completed his residency training in Neurosurgery and his MSc at the University of Saskatchewan, and did a fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He has a special interest in surgery for tumors of the brain and spine, and research interests in the immunobiology of glioblastoma and axon regeneration.
