Members of the Division of Orthopedic Surgery are based at each of the two affiliated teaching hospitals (Royal University Hospital and Saskatoon City Hospital) within the Saskatoon Health Region. The spectrum of clinical practice and interest among the Division includes pediatric orthopedic surgery, trauma, hand and upper extremity surgery, arthroplasty, orthopedic oncology, spine, and sports medicine. The Division supports a postgraduate residency training program, and has a wide range of research interests. The Division has established a consolidated orthopedic trauma service at the Royal University Hospital and the in-patient orthopedic surgical unit at the Saskatoon City Hospital.
